1. Introduction

Welcome to HereForGood.

HereForGood is an independent, nonpartisan, non-governmental nonprofit dedicated to defending truth in the digital age by helping ensure that truthful information remains present where people increasingly search, learn, and rely on information—including AI engines, search platforms, and social media.

Our website and services provide access to carefully curated information, educational resources, and digital tools based on trusted sources. Our goal is to make reliable information more accessible while supporting informed learning and research.

While we strive to provide accurate, well-sourced, and up-to-date information, the content available through our website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered professional, legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice. You are solely responsible for how you use the information and services provided through this website.

2. Agreeing to These Terms

These HereForGood Terms of Use ("Terms of Use") cover all our services and features found on the website (the "Website"), including but not limited to the Dot feature. They lay out the full rules for every visitor or user ("User" or "you") of our Website and any other services, applications, and features we offer (the "Services").

These Terms are a legal agreement between HereForGood ("HereForGood", "us", or "we") and you, regarding your use of any of the Website's Services. So, please read them carefully.

You can only visit and/or use our Services if you fully agree to these Terms. If you don't read, fully understand, or agree to these Terms, you must leave the Website immediately and stop using all the Services.

By using our Services, you also confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy, which you can find at our Privacy Policy.

3. What You Promise to Do (and Not Do)

You confirm and warrant that:

3.1. You are at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal right to enter into this agreement, either for yourself or on behalf of the person or company you represent.

3.2. You own all rights to the content and questions ("Input") you submit to our Services, or you have (and will continue to have) all the necessary permissions and authority for that Input. This includes the legal right to access, copy, upload, and publish the Input, both by you and by us.

3.3. You have (and will keep) the full power, rights, and permissions to let us access, process, copy, upload, and use your Input to provide you with the Services.

You agree and undertake not to:

3.4. Copy, change, create new versions of, adapt, reverse engineer, translate, or break apart any part of the Services.

3.5. Use any illegal methods to gather login details or passwords for our Services or any other third-party services.

3.6. Apart from content produced with the Services, publish and/or make any use of the Services, on any website, media, network or system other than those provided or approved by us, or frame, "deep link", "page scrape", mirror, and/or create a browser or border environment around any part of the Services;

3.7. Act in a manner which might be perceived as damaging to our reputation and goodwill or which may bring us into disrepute;

3.8. Reverse look-up, trace, or seek to trace another user of the Services, or otherwise interfere with or violate any user's right to privacy or other rights, or harvest or collect personal information about other users;

3.9. Disable, circumvent, bypass, or otherwise avoid any measures used to prevent or restrict access to the Services, by hacking, password mining, or other illegitimate means;

3.10. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any network connected to the Services;

3.11. Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure or systems, or otherwise interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services or the servers or networks that host or make them available, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of such servers or networks;

3.12. Use the Services in connection with any form of spam, fraud, scam, phishing, "chain letters", "pyramid schemes" or similar conduct, or otherwise engage in unethical marketing or advertising;

3.13. Access the Services through any means or technology (e.g., scraping or crawling) other than our publicly supported interfaces;

3.14. Sell, license, or otherwise exploit any use of or access to the Services for commercial purposes, except as expressly permitted by these Terms of Use or with our prior written consent;

3.15. Remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, restrictions, or proprietary rights notices contained in or accompanying the Services;

3.16. Violate, attempt to violate, or otherwise fail to comply with any of these Terms of Use or any laws or requirements applicable to your use of the Services.

You understand and agree that if you fail to follow any of the above, or if you misrepresent anything here, we might immediately end any Services provided to you, with or without further notice.

4. AI Features

4.1. Our Services may allow you to submit Input, such as text, images, links and questions to get information as an output ("Output") using AI technology, including but not limited to the Dot feature.

4.2. AI Limitations. Because of how AI works, we can't fully control or predict the outputs. So, HereForGood doesn't promise that the content generated will meet your exact needs or expectations. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, relevance, legality, quality, or any other aspect of the Output. The Output might also potentially infringe on others' rights (like privacy or intellectual property), and it might not be unique to you – other users could get similar outputs. Therefore:

  • You are entirely responsible for checking all Outputs from the Services before you use, publish, or share them, and for making sure you are legally allowed to use them.
  • You should consider the Output as a suggestion only and use your own judgment to decide if it accurately reflects your views and purpose.

4.3. As part of the Dot Services, we may integrate or utilize AI services provided by third parties. Please be advised that HereForGood does not in any way endorse any such third-party services, nor shall it bear any responsibility or liability whatsoever concerning them. HereForGood will not be a party to, or in any way responsible for monitoring, any interaction or transaction between you and any third-party services.

4.4. If you choose to use, publish, or display an Output, it becomes your own content, and these Terms will apply as if it were your own content. Between you and HereForGood, we don't claim ownership rights in the Output, as long as it doesn't contain any existing intellectual property that belongs to us.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Your Intellectual Property: As between HereForGood and you, you shall own all intellectual property pertaining to your Input and to any other materials created with our Services. We do not claim ownership rights on your Input or the content you produced while using our Services. You know and agree that in order to provide the Services to you and to maintain and improve the Services we will need to access, upload and/or copy your Input, to train our software tools (e.g. artificial intelligence and machine learning models) and perform any other technical actions and/or uses required to perform our services, as we deem fit. You hereby grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use your Input for this purpose.

5.2. Intellectual Property: All rights, title and interest in and to the Services, including any and all copyrightable materials or any other content thereof which is or may be subject to any intellectual property rights under any applicable law (including any artwork, graphics, images, source and object code, computer code (including html), applications, documentation, derivatives and versions thereof, the "look and feel" of the Services, methods, products, algorithms, data, interactive features and objects, advertising and acquisition tools and methods, inventions, trade secrets, logos, domains, customized URLs, trademarks, service marks, trade names and other proprietary identifiers, whether or not registered and/or capable of being registered (collectively, "Intellectual Property"), and any derivations thereof, are owned by and/or licensed to HereForGood.

6. Privacy

Some parts of our Services involve collecting and using certain personal information. We encourage you to regularly read our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your data.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

We provide our Services "As Is" and "as available," without any promises or guarantees of any kind. This includes no implied promises about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, completeness, reliability, or being error-free, all to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We specifically do not promise that our Services (or any content from them) are complete, accurate, of a certain quality, reliable, or secure, suitable for your activities, or that they comply with any laws applicable to you. We also don't promise that their operation will be free of viruses, bugs, or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HereForGood is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from: (1) errors or inaccuracies in any content from the Services; (2) personal injury or property damage related to your or others' use of the Services; (3) interruption, failures, or unavailability of the Services; (4) your or others' access to, use of, or display of content via the Services; (5) events beyond HereForGood's reasonable control (including internet or network failures, natural disasters, or acts of war); or (6) loss of use, data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses from using or being unable to use the Services, even if HereForGood has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You understand and agree that these limits are a reasonable allocation of risk and a fundamental basis of the agreement between you and HereForGood.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless HereForGood from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debt and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (1) your violation of any term of these Terms of Use; and/or (2) your violation of any third party right, including any copyright, access rights, property, or privacy right, resulting from your use of the Services.

10. Governing Law

You agree that HereForGood has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

These Terms, along with any related claims or disputes, will be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Israel. This means that any legal disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts located in Tel-Aviv, Israel. We specifically exclude the application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by simply discontinuing your use of the Website and Services. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately and without prior notice for any reason, including but not limited to: (i) you violate these Terms of Use; (ii) you engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties; (iii) we reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity; (iv) we are required to do so by law or court order; or (v) we discontinue the Services (with reasonable notice when feasible).

12. Changes and Updates

We can change, stop, or end any of our Services, and/or cancel your access to any of them, for any reason. We can also change any part of these Terms, with or without giving you prior notice, at any time and in any way we see fit.

13. Notices

We may send you notices in a few ways: (1) through the Services themselves (like a banner or pop-up on the Website); (2) by email to the address you've given us; and/or (3) through any other means, including any phone number or physical address you've provided.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any other legal notices we provide to you, make up the complete agreement between you and HereForGood about our Services. They replace any earlier agreements, promises, or discussions, whether written or spoken, between you and HereForGood regarding the Services.
